Out There

In a universe so vast

exists our role

what part we played created

the past, characterizes the present

and births what’s to come.

Given the opportunity to exist

let’s share of ourselves

or forever seal our destiny,

and whinge with the hapless.

Mawkish and drunk on oneself

results in an empty soul

and spiritless memories.

Thanks for sharing this wonderful poem and the lovely positive affirmations. With what is going on in America currently, they are MUCH appreciated. The photo is what drew may attention first, btw.
