Renewing our Senses

  Gossipy stares getting you down

Hey, get that chin off the ground

Bruised spirits may weep in vain

Emitting fumes of pity, rigors of pain

Insensible voices may be raised in ire

but, short-lived nonsense will soon expire

Flawed feelings may fuel spineless sympathy

Let’s transcribe the meaning of empathy

“A friend is one that knows you as you are, understands where you have been, accepts what you have become, and still, gently allows you to grow.”― William Shakespeare

I’d be delighted to see you at the Go Dog Go Cafe where there is a remarkable cluster of talented writers. I’m one of the Baristas and proud to be a part this elite group.

Friends like the one Shakespeare describes are hard to find, because their own perspective comes in between.
