Hindsight is 20/20

hindsight so clever, but

perhaps of little value

actual occurrence blurred

by foregone conclusions

seemingly without qualm

and grave consequences

may lead to one’s demise

    “actual occurrence blurred

    by foregone conclusions”

    speaks so much.

The last line came as a surprise.

I don’t see the Reblog button as yet.

Reena, the reblog feature is not available for PoemsNSuch because it is on the Business Plan. I tried to find a plug in for it but not successful. BrewNSpew is on a different plan and has the reblog feature.

I think your challenge and Susi’s challenge will be more effective if I post from BrewNSpew, which I will do in the future. There is more of a consistent flow because of the reblog feature.

PoemsNSuch is on the Business Plan by accident, in a way.

Wise words, Eugenia. It reminds me of a quote: “You’ve got one foot in the past, one foot in the future, and you’re pissing on the present.” Living fully in the now is very difficult to do but vital to work towards.

Reblogged this on Reena Saxena and commented:

This is what NLP practitioners call Version 1 (what actually happened) and Version 2 (what/how we remember and propagate ahead) of an incident.
