This really captures the aura of the moment. In fact, just moments before opening this, an ambulance drove through our quite neighbourhood – the “air ..,paused”. Well done!
Thank you! I hear them everyday where we live. Our neighborhood is close to a major highway.
Welcome. It’s worrisome here as we are a community of seniors, and the sight of an ambulance means one of neighbour’s is unwell. Even worse in this time.
That would be worrisome. Sirens have always been a sign of something gone wrong to me.
Definitely.
Touching poem Eugenia.
Thank you, Sadje! 😉
You’re welcome 😉

Definitely a tense feeling…I hear them too often, as I’m on a state highway.

Eugenia,
The air itself paused really grabbed me, almost sending a shiver down my spine. To feel as if the air pauses has to be an intense moment. Excellent job, my friend!
Thank you so much, Cathy!
Ahhh so many emotions are coming out…out of this short yet thought provoking piece
Thank you!
