Kaleidoscope dreams

a sunny marmalade Monday

blissed into topaz Tuesday, a

gem of a day, facted with a guiding

light to white swatch Wednesday, its

brightness tamed by the tealness of

Thursday only to come alive on

lover boy, red leather Friday,

touting a revved weekend attitude

alas, faced with a hangover on

screaming-green Saturday, though

filled with neutralizing options,

and the week’s finale,

silent Sunday, a silvery-grey day,

gracefully aged like fine wine

another week purposed to

avoid a colorless existence

    • Thank you, Bjorn. This was a fun write and perhaps a little “out there”. I wasn’t sure if readers would associate loverboy, red leather Friday with the group Lover Boy, their song “Working for the Weekend” and their trademark look – red leather pants and bandanas.
