A blendship

piercing words colder than ice

they make one quiver.

with each passing day, obstinate bullies

unwilling to bestow kindness.

their spill of ugly words in print

their insipid garble of murky drama.

like a beacon from a lighthouse

beamed to the sky for all to see.

the bitterness in their souls

make one crumble and surrender,

our children the most vulnerable.

healthy friendships a crucial step

to develop emotionally and morally

to show compassion for others

to deter against bullying.

there is the awakening need

for friends at any age in life.

“Don’t walk in front of me… I may not follow
Don’t walk behind me… I may not lead
Walk beside me… just be my friend” – Albert Camus

  1. There is so much hatred running rampant it’s mind boggling. I wish everyone would show more kindness.

Have a fabulous day and week, Eugenia. ♥

    1. Awww, I hate to hear that, VJ. Bullying is especially hard on children. Personally, I feel bullying will never end. So many people are unhappy with themselves and take it out on the vulnerable.
