Drowning within

drowning in the

raindrops of the heart

only to understand

wistful thoughts mean

never losing hope

in heart and in mind

no one to blame but myself, yet

giggling blossoms bring smiles

wishes blurt out songs

in four-part harmony

trust regains itself

hunting for life’s purpose

in all of nature’s creations

never to face sadness again
