    Eugenia — You struck a strong chord here… resonant, clear… This is where I should be at this stage of days, but alas, I am so far from solid sand. Maybe if I try really hard, I can conjure up some of this resolve you wield so freely.

        In a rare turn of events, I find myself inundated with melancholy. Disappoints line up like slats on a picket fence, and I only know one way home. While I will be the first to declare, ambivalence is not the easy way out that it is made out to be, the momentary peace and quite make it seem worthwhile, for a while.
