Paul of Paul’s Poetry Playground introduced the Invented Poetry Form – The Skinny

Here’s the skinny on The Skinny –

The skinny is an eleven-line poem in which all the words of the first line are repeated in the eleventh and final line. The words may be used either in the original order or rearranged.  All the other lines of the skinny consist of just one word, with the second, sixth, and tenth lines being the same word.         But I think that’s just because of the headline news!!

      2. Sometimes headlines via paper or radio are unavoidable. I suppose my like of murder mysteries (books and shows) doesn’t help me!! 🙂

      3. Hubby likes the cop, fire, Jag law… CSI… – I like the CSI shows. But I stay away from the horror stuff (I attempt to avert my eyes!! 🙂
