  3. You nailed it, Eugi, and love the Thoreau quote. Thanks for the Thanksgiving wishes. Have a wonderful day of gratitude. 🕊

    1. Thanksgiving is a national holiday celebrated on various dates in the United States, Canada, Grenada, Saint Lucia, and Liberia. It began as a day of giving thanks and sacrifice for the blessing of the harvest and of the preceding year. Similarly named festival holidays occur in Germany and Japan. 😊

  4. Gratitude, what a beautiful word! I would like to write you a wonderful quote about it:
“Not the lucky ones are grateful.
It is the grateful who are happy. ”
    Francis Bacon (1561-1626)
Stay healthy, Eugi and take care!
    The best to you! 🌼🌻
    Rosie from Germany

  5. Eugi, I am sorry I missed this post earlier. I am still trying to catch up. Such a beautiful poem with a beautiful message: We should be thankful all year long. I hope your Thanksgiving was lovely and meaningful, and that you have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year! 🙂

    1. Hi, Cheryl! No apologies necessary! This is a busy time of the year and I hope you are enjoying your holidays! 💖
