I am passionate about the Atlanta Humane Society, which is where we adopted Callie on February 14, 2020.
Their aim is to connect homeless animals with good homes and provide neglected animals with safe spaces. They stand strong against vulnerable animals subject to abuse, neglect, and displacement.
The Mission of the Atlanta Humane Society –
The Atlanta Humane Society is a no-kill shelter providing 60,000 direct points of care to animals each year through sheltering and adoption, veterinary care, and community outreach. We operate out of three locations in metro Atlanta and help find nearly 10,000 animals loving homes each year. As one of the oldest charities in Atlanta, we have been caring for our community and her animals for more than 148 years.

I’ve got relatives who ‘do’ resuce four footed family (and two legged too- birds).
One pet I had was found on the street, the other was from a shelter.
Now I just feed the outside birdies 🙂
Your kitty looks like one of the resuce cats of my family… who is now about 15 years plus!

Callie will be 4 this February. She is a tortie and quite the diva! She gives us high fives and a very talkative cat. Never a dull moment.

She is very loved and seems happy with us. We are her second adoptive parents. The first ones turned her back in because they couldn’t deal with her. She has calmed a lot since we’ve had her but still has her moments. She’s only 3 and loves to play.
