It is hard to predict my own future. Good point about predicting the future of others in faraway places.
I agree predicting our own future would be difficult, Frank. As far as others in faraway places wishing for peace rather than predicting may be more realistic.
Such a wonder prompt and a lovely haiku. Makes me think hard about my future, perhaps it gonna be better tomorrow. ❤
Thank you, Lamittan, and let’s hope the future is bright for all of us. 💖
Indeed. Feel most welcome, Eugi. 💖
I particularly like that last line.
Thank you, Liz!
You’re welcome, Eugi!

Thank you, Tom!
Hi, Eugenia. Another great prompt. Here is my offering and response to this week’s word prompt – ‘Faraway’. An offering that goes back a long way to my reading Enid Blyton’s story to many many children. It was a much loved favourite with them all. here’s the link;

Let the magic live on.
Have a great day everyone.
Thank you, Goff!
Loved the prompt. Took me immediately back to story time with my children.
Aww, how lovely, Goff.
Cheers. Happy Smiles Day Eugenia.

Thank you, Jules!
“Faraway” REALLY touched me Eugi! My mind went right to the Ukraine…..I doubt when you wrote this poem, you were thinking that….
I wish I could take all of them ‘faraway’ & give them somewhere safe to be…..

P.S.: I hope my comment is not offensive or controversial. It is said in sincerity <3

Thank you, Mich!
I find it interesting how apt this poem is today since it was written before the war in Ukraine. I schedule Eugi’s Weekly Prompts months in advance. I also wish the citizens of Ukraine had a safe place to be. Your comment is not offensive and your heart is in the right place! 🥰
I think our hearts all go to those who suffer needlessly when we think of “far away”. We don’t know what will happen, we have to hang on to hope. And prayers 🙏 I love your words, and the quote ❤
So true, Lisa, and thank you! 🤍
