    1. Thank you, Colleen! I wish my phone took better pictures. That particular day the sky was full of beautiful jet streams. Usually, they are not that wide or that color.

  2. Aw, such a sad poem, Eugenia! I started venturing out locally this year. I still don’t feel comfortable leaving the country, but I know I will do so one day. I hope you will as well. 🙂

    1. We venture out locally, as well, but our days of flying are over. Back in the day, I enjoyed flying but it has changed so much and not for the better, IMO.

  3. Every age group has lost time from their lives due to Covid 19. Retired people who looked forward to travel in retirement and time with their grandchildren, children who endured remote learning, people who worked from home…women who could not return to work because they lacked child care, marriages postponed…You captured a sense of that lost time in your poem, Eugi! ❤

    1. We are an hour away (driving) from our favorite place to visit. It’s safe to go there now so we are planning our trip.😉
