  1. This day started with grey sky, little dribbles and then finally got up into the low 70’s.
And that is quite high enough for me 😉

    1. Our temps are starting to get warmer in the afternoons. We’re seeing high 70s and low 80s. Our A/C went kaput last night. Thank goodness for apartment living. Let them fix it. Probably needs a shot of freon. 😉

      1. We haven’t had to turn on the AC yet. But at least we have it. Some homes in our neighborhood don’t. But then we wouldn’t have bought our house if it didn’t have AC – allergies need to be filtered.

        Good luck with that repair.

  2. You wouldn’t believe it if I told you! I had everything set, colors, widgets, etc., however, when I set up a draft , it is all black and I can’t see what I am typing. So, I reset the theme to see if that will help. Interesting is that I use the same theme for both my .org and .com blogs and don’t have the issue in my .com blog. I will find another host come November.

    1. Yep! Blue Host was down for hours yesterday and there were many complaints. Concerning WP.org, there are other options besides Blue Host for self-hosted blogs. I’ll reevaluate it in Nov. when my Blue Host subscription expires.

      1. Moving to self-hosted for EC started out due to more themes. But now the same themes are available for WP.com (Pro) as WP.org.

WP.com was very restricted unless one had the Business plan and I couldn’t see paying $300. for a blog that doesn’t generate any income. But, Pro has about the same options as self-hosting, which is why I moved EB to Pro, plus I had a WP.com credit due me.

I may move EC back to WP.com Pro, once I determine which plan is more stable. Yesterday’s mess with Blue Host did not settle well with numerous bloggers (including business blogs). Some experienced hours downtime.

      2. Thank you, Rory! There are few that get into a blog’s appearance but not many. It’s eye appeal, IMO. I probably change mine too frequently, but, the last 2 times were because of Blue Host and my theme. Funny how the same theme works well on my WP.com blog but tends to get wacky on my WP.org. blog.
