“It is often the moments of silence that strengthen the friendship between two people. When friendship is bound by companionship… intertwined with love, secured by mutual understanding…”

It’s almost always a mere thought, and yet –
There are times in my life,
… like now when,
My mind,
… so intertwined,
With my yesterdays and todays,
… become saddened by my tomorrow.
I oft wonder at the ifs,
… not the maybes or the buts,
Just purely the ifs,
… the ifs of nostalgia.
The simplest of psychologies,
… the simple ways of our lives.
When without course, we think upon,
… what has passed and ask ourselves,
Can we, should we could we,
Just do more?
If this is the case, what then must we do?
…. What will enrich the meaning for us?
The very core of understanding,
… comes not from others,
But only ourselves, and
…. Our moments of reflection.

Thank you to all that participated! I appreciate you!
