trees, my backyard friends
ideas seep from our bark

You make the trees look exquisitely beautiful.
I came across another story where the jungle man who takes city-slickers through the forest, stops to ask “Do you feel millions of souls around you?” He’s not referring to ghosts, but to the myriad life forms present there.
We may not be solitary souls, just disconnected.

Thank you, Reena! I like your story and agree with being disconnected! I like the feeling of being connected with nature and sometimes disconnected with the world.

Beautiful poetry! When I look at the image with the beginning of summer only days away I know this season will fade away fast and the return autumn wardrobe across the country side. I love the cooler temps but dread what follows shortly after! For now, I’ll just take each day as it comes savoring every moment. Have a blessed weekend, my friend!

Thank you, Cathy. It seems our favorite season come and go too soon. I’m with you taking each day as it comes and enjoy every moment. You and DH enjoy your weekend, as well. ❤️

I love being surrounded by trees, especially those that existed before I was born, and will be here after I am gone! Very beautiful poem, Eugi! ❤

Some of the trees in my yard – there branchs the causeways of squirrels… I wonder too if their roots intertwine and if they are truly alone…
Their bark and leaves writing poems that are visible to those who choose to see 💖
