Aging and Happy Birthday to Me – June 17th, 19??✨

While sipping my second cup of coffee, its robustness stirs my thoughts into caffeinated inquiries and what I think about growing older. Something about fresh-washed mornings with shimmering dew, take me to a place and time I’ve been before. I not only let the “simpler times” feeling flow through me like a fresh mountain breeze, but I also inhale it. Options present themselves in life’s every nook and cranny, even those covered in dusty layers of yesteryear feel the warmth of the sun through the window of opportunity.

Same with aging, the options are simple and straightforward. One can become enlightened, genuine and commonsensical, inquisitive, and optimistic, and let age-flawed mindsets be bygones. Or one may become socially difficult and unsympathetic choosing a lonely and unreliable path. In my opinion, graciousness is the utmost descriptive one can receive. Tagged with such is an acclaimed gift from all walks of life. I yearn to keep the golden years golden.

  2. Happy Birthday!!

Now that I too am of an age that I remember my grandmothers who I believed to be gracious… I hope that I can follow them. Even when life tosses the unexpected, it is handling that chaos with calm assuredness that shows our maturity.

May we continue to live life filled with laughter even when bits of chaos rains. 😀

    1. Happy Birthday, Dear Eugeni
We learn so much from reflecting on our past, and plan to apply that learning in the future. . .
But drinking in today, the sun, the sky, the forest or the shore breezes . . .
      Today is a gift . . . the present . . .
      Enjoy the day!

    1. I didn’t want to make my birthday a big deal, Rory! “Aging” was one I drafted a while back and thought why not share my birthday, as well. It’s been a very productive day taking care of moving insurances resulting in major savings and reconnecting with friends.

    1. Thank you, Renard! Love your comment and haven’t seen much more than grey hair and a few wrinkles. So far being a septuagenarian isn’t too bad.
