Children trying on the world

fantasy must be true

there’s no actual

to prove it’s not factual

a child’s wish come true

awaiting the ice-wagon

and ward off the snap-dragon

A person who had never listened to nor read a tale or myth or parable or story, would remain ignorant of his own emotional and spiritual heights and depths, would not know fully what it is to be human. – Ursula K Le Guin

      1. You’re welcome Eugenia! I’m good as long as I don’t try to walk! It will be taken care of on coming Saturday. An operation to fix the ankle and the fallen arch.

    1. Thank you, Derrick. Yes, relevant indeed! IMO, some fairy tales are too scary for children and can even be bothersome for adults. However, a child’s imagination will exist whether or not it’s headed in the right direction.
