Vivacious Woodpigeons

I find that some garden birds are oft gregarious,
… and others are socially mysterious,
Which can offer up the crumbs of the hilarious,
Or make perch time precarious,
Like woodpigeons,
Hardly graceful as they stroll along,
.. tripping over their own feet,
Not partaking in any particular song,
But always joyful to all whom they meet.
They remind me of grey Garfield’s with wings,
… but l do so like them, for their ambling gait,
And the smile to my face that they bring,
When they stop by in the garden for a seed date.

    1. Yes, his photos are amazing. He had numerous issues with his blog and gave up on it. I can still access his blog and saved many photos to my hard drive with his permission. 💕

      2. Many bloggers don’t like the new editor and Svein became very frustrated with it. He got locked out of his own blog and couldn’t get the help he needed. I tried to help him via back-and-forth emails but I think he was just fed up with the whole ordeal. He told me I could use his photos if I gave him credit. I’m downloading as many as I can and saving to my hard drive because once his blog closes down, the photos will no longer be available.
