Mary Hopkin‘s 1968 debut single of “Those Were the Days”, which was produced by Paul McCartney of the Beatles, and arranged by Richard Hewson, became a number one hit on the UK Singles Chart and on the Canadian RPM Magazine charts. The song also reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100, behind “Hey Jude” by the Beatles. It was number one in the first edition of the French National Hit Parade launched by the Centre d’Information et de Documentation du Disque.[3] The song was featured on her debut album Post Card.

  8. It is a good thing to have lived through some things and to now be comfortable with the self. I’m opting to do more to keep healthy… you know over that hill but still have a heart beating to my own drum.

All we can truly do is to be honest with ourselves… And ignore the mirrors or embrace them – Cheers to living a good life!

    1. Not all of my life was peaches and cream but the good parts outweigh the bad parts. I prefer to dwell on the good and not the bad. You know the old saying – if I knew I was going to live this long, I would have taken better care of myself. 😉

      1. 😉
Dark sides bring forth some creative juices too!
Annual doc visit brought up a new challenge… I might have to deal with. But after looking it up some diet change maybe all that is needed. I’ll find out more next week or month… 🙂

        1. Seems our diet could be what caused our problems, though we didn’t know it at the time. I hope your diet change brings good results.💖

          1. Need more fruit and veg… and oatmeal and nuts… We’ll see…
