Another rainy day – Senryū

a grey day mizzly
daily attire irksome task
rain slicker stylish

candle burns slowly
sky water taps my window
comfort tea brewing

  1. Gray, rainy days of winter are picked up with a good hot brew of your choice. We had a wet day yesterday. Got out to run some errands after DH got off work. On the way into a store walking through a parking lot, I mentioned to him that the back of my pant legs felt cold and damp and it had me baffled. Then, as we headed back to the car I commented again about my legs feeling wet and that’s when I noticed they were actually wet. I can’t figure out how I managed to sling that much water off the parking lot back onto my legs. roll eyes That really made me cold, too. I’m so ready for spring!
