ever and anon
I sojourn outside
time construct as I call
my domain my own
full autonomy embraced
the past and present
dwell in the moment
yet, I transcend
sunrises and sunsets
and linger in twilight
where shadows are empty
“Time is an illusion.”
― Albert Einstein
Reena’s Xploration Challenge #266
So, am I going to be less busy, do less, dream less and accomplish less… Are we so driven by calendars and clocks? Are we truly enmeshed with the world, each other and Time?

Me too, Derrick. It’s wonderful to do things in one’s own time frame.

There comes a time that we can indeed once again – be more in control of just what we want to do and achomplish. And not to be pushed!
I do feel for those young families and young professionals being tugged in so many directions that they feel they have little time for themselves.

I am grateful for where I am now. I remember those times when I worked and everyone needed something done ASAP! I doubt that things are any better and maybe worse. We’d have meetings about work-life balance, that took up too much time, and nothing was ever done about it.

Committees for things seem to never get anything done – no one wants to give way.
I remember too many meetings where I didn’t get a chance to be heard.
So glad I know the word ‘no’ – now!
