absorb the magic
the foreverness is real
not contrived as claimed
wedded to the earth
gifts from nature unconsumed
by life’s hurried ways
What do you see # 172- 6 February 2023

For the visually challenged reader, this image shows a set of three blue artificial mushrooms planted in a grassy area. These are all of different sizes.

Foreverness often feels a distant prospect in the hurried nature of modern life. Great poem 🙂

Just becareful of orange ‘Fairy Circle’ mushrooms… that color is a warning to stay away! Some much variety. But I’m not confident to pick my own in the wild. I’ve seen some unique rainbow mushrooms growing on deadwood too!

I’m not confident to pick my own in the wild either. The store bought ones will suffice.

I like the baby portabellas… they are ‘meatier’ than just the white buttons. I haven’t tried to many exotic ones yet. Though I have see many different kinds on cooking shows.
