I love to share my creativity
with brevity
’nuff said
a catastrophic event
not heaven sent
to survive
one must be wise
first aid kit, hand sanitizer, water, non-perishable food, flashlight, extra batteries, compass, knife, fire starter kit, blanket, and sleeping bag. cell phone with solar power battery charger.
“Your fear is 100% dependent on you for its survival.”
― Steve Maraboli
I’ve driven and ridden in many a city, big and small
country roads too, by the way
Nope, no road rage, lucky me!
“Anger gets you into trouble, ego keeps you in trouble.”
― Amit Kalantri
diplomacy and tact go a long way
address the issue and be kind along the way
kill em with kindness as my mother used to say
“Any fool can criticize, condemn, and complain – and most fools do.”
― Benjamin Franklin

Rory’s The Morning Dawdler
What is it about writing that you enjoy?
You have twenty minutes to take five practical everyday items from your house that will fit into a backpack that you will need to survive for two weeks in the wild – what do you take?
Have you ever experienced road rage whilst driving in your car as a driver or passenger in someone else’s car?
Do you complain or keep quiet if you receive lousy service when out and about and what is most likely to tick you off the most?

I’ve got a first aid kit in my car… I’ve taken a few first aid classes. The last one was about two years ago. Good to take refreshers as the rules do change.
Be prepared… isn’t that a Scout motto? 😉

Be prepared is key! Good for you for taking first aid courses. Yes, it is a scout motto.

I took mine online… my one child who is also an instructor gave me my ‘exam’. I should probably keep a pair or two of gloves on me. The newer CPR methods don’t rely on mouth to mouth, more in keeping the heart going. Even if one doesn’t take the exam – I’m sure there are free online first aid courses.

That sounds too organised for me, Eugenia. For example, I’d take the flashlight and forget about the extra batteries! Or, more likely, take the batteries and forget the flashlight! 🤣😊

I have a first aid kit in both cars and I have a case of an emergency blanket that has come in handy many times. Were we supposed to answer the questions at the end? I am tired today and not thinking clearly. Stayed up past 1 to finish reading a book.

It’s not my prompt but I think you can answer the questions you wish to address. Good idea to have emergency kits in your car because you never know what could happen.
