if I were a tree

I’d be an apple tree

why, coz I love apples you see

white/pink flowers in the spring

make my heart sing

apples in desserts, jellies, jams and butters

on their own a yummy treat if I had my druthers

“Unconditional Love is like an apple tree. The apple tree gives apples, not because anyone needs them or deserves them, but because that is what apple trees do.” ― Vivian Amis

staplers are a useful tool

paperweight, doorstop or to steady a table

using it as a weapon don’t be a fool

“Thank Artemis, it is you! That little scar on your lip–you tried to eat a stapler when you were two!”

Hedge nodded like he approved of Jason’s taste. “Staplers–excellent source of iron.” ― Rick Riordan, The Lost Hero

Yes, I tip if I want another sip

or another bite without spiteI

“Contrary to popular opinion, we are all a vast brotherhood of human beings whose very survival hinges not on what we keep, but on what we give. And it is in the giving that we not only survive to live another day, but we thrive to celebrate another day.”― Craig D. Lounsbrough

I blog to write and create

camraderie and fulfillment the rewards

if I had to make a choice

I’d opt to write and create for my own sake

and to have a voice

A poet is a verb that blossoms light in gardens of dawn, or sometimes midnight.”Aberjhani

So long, friends.

Rory’s The Morning Dawdler

“If you were a tree, what kind of tree would you be and why?”

Name 5 uses for a stapler other than stapling.

Do you believe in tipping for good service received and do you think that tipping makes for a better service?

Do you have a blog to write or do you have a blog to socialise only and which one could you survive without if one was taken away?

  1. Apples are good. I always keep some on hand. Sliced with cheese it is a good snack.

I think each blog post I read is a little seed – and once planted they aid in the growth of friendship from the writer to the reader!

Cheers on this chilly Saturday that was filled with some morning errands and chores 🙂

I hope to write soon 🙂

    1. I love apples and cheese! I agree about blog posts and feel they are an open door to a new discovery. We woke to 29F, however, it has warmed up to 56F. 🌞

  2. If I’d be a tree… Perhaps a cocoa tree. Or a linden tree. Cocoa gives us chocolate obviously, and linden, well, those flowers with the most incredible perfume – and you can use them for tea! Both cocoa and linden are good for anxiety – and we could use more calm during these incredible stressful times. Loved your post. And yes, apples are great too. 🍎

  3. Hey Eugenia – I wanted to ask you if you converted over to Jet Pack on Word Press users and if so handy thoughts you have about using it. I read its obligatory for WP users on March 8. Jim (USFMAN)

    1. Hi Jim. I use a laptop for blogging and haven’t tried the mobile app yet. However, I’ve read In early March 2023, Jetpack features will be removed from the WordPress app and only be available in the Jetpack app. So, if you use your mobile phone for blogging, you should switch to the Jetpack app to continue using your favorite Jetpack features, including Stats, Notifications, Reader, and more.

I follow Renard’s World blog and learn a wealth of information about WordPress. Here is a link to the post he wrote about the Jetpack app.

      I hope this helps.

      1. Thank you for your feedback on Jet Pack, Eugeni. Can I assume when you say it’s appropriate for I Phone, that the same opinion applies to IPads as well? I am also a little suspicious that there are add ons embedded into the program that cost the user money.

      2. I don’t use Apple products so I can’t vouch for the application, however, WordPress works on all types of devices so I would assume it works on iPhones and iPads. There are no fees involved with Jetpack as it’s built into the WordPress platform. I hope this helps.
