Adequate perception

is it a mindset

that rides on a whim

or a feeling that

blows with the wind.

is it the inner self

wanting to shine

or the outer self

donning a smile

is it the plip plop

of falling rain

the mighty roar

of the sea

the blue skies

up above

laughing

with the sun

flowers and

the trees

birds and

the bees

is it not everywhere

for all to see

or just for those

who wish to perceive
