Bear with us Gaia

wedded to life

we raise a hand

to Mother Earth

applaud her mastery

of flora and fauna

colors vivid neath

a blue sky page

I percieve the world,

a manmade construct,

acceptance dubious

as we dally

winds of fate continue

“By day the banished sun circles the earth like a grieving mother with a lamp.”
― Cormac McCarthy

Prompt – For the visually challenged reader, this image shows a multicolored metallic hand which is encircled by a golden ring. This probably is a computer generated image. – Sadje

  1. Fate can be fickle… I remember that from Rowan and Martin’s ‘Laugh In’ 🙂
We need to help make our fates better by being better.
