Rory’s The Garden Dawdler – 3/27/23

I wanna be in the know, that’s why the why is important

“For as long as there’s anyone to ask ‘Why?’ the answer will always be, ‘Why not?”
― Vera Nazarian,

IMHO, fun is a state of mind, and to enhance my fun,

I write, listen to music, spend time with family, enjoy nature,

and dance like no one is watching

“And the sun and the moon sometimes argue over who will tuck me in at night. If you think I am having more fun than anyone on this planet, you are absolutely correct.”
― Hafiz

sure, we should care coz souls meet kindred souls in dreams

“I think we dream so we don’t have to be apart for so long. If we’re in each other’s dreams, we can be together all the time.”
― A.A. Milne

criticism is just another’s opinion. best to take it in stride

“You may face opposition not only because you are doing something wrong, but because you are doing something right. Not all oppositions are meant for a better life!”
― Israelmore Ayivor

I’m good at saying no, especially now that I am older

“I am learning to love the sound of my feet walking away from things that aren’t meant for me.” — Unknown

nose hair? you tell me

“Keep an eye on your responses. Strong responses are about you more than them.”
― Auliq Ice

novels – no, Netflix – meh, blogs – yes

good things come and go, as well as bad things do the same. waiting is something I’m not good at.

“There are times to stay put, and what you want will come to you, and there are times to go out into the world and find such a thing for yourself.”
― Lemony Snicket

Bye, bye

Rory’s The Garden Dawdler

Is the WHY to everything important?
What would you list as your Top Five Fun Things?
Should we care about the dreams of others or only our own?
How well do you deal with criticism from others?
Do you say YES or NO more often, and which is it?
What is nose hair for?
What is the funniest comment you have ever received?
Novels or Netflix?
Do good things come to those who wait?

  1. Learning to say ‘No’ and walking aways from things we don’t like… and enjoying the good day – those are the good parts of getting old. And dreaming, blogs, friends; yes, yes, and yes!!
