That is a beautiful Mandrin Duck!
A nice wake up image!
Later this morning the tree is getting removed from the creek.
Sooner is better than later. We originally were told closer to the end of the month.

Quakers! We have mostly mallards and one that’s kind of black and white that I call a Tux Duck. 😉

Mandarin ducks are usually found in Asian countries, however, there are some in Great Britain and various US states. Have a great week ahead, Cathy!

Where I once lived there was a pond that flowed under a bridge. The ducks would sometimes stop traffic on the bridge while they walked across it instead of swimming under it. Of course, they waddled across single file so it took awhile but the drivers were patient and enjoyed the parade.

Geese do the same thing. It’s so cute to watch the little ones waddle behind the mother.
