Hi, and welcome to Moonwashed Musings!

Moonwashed Musings is my domain to bask in the world of poetry. As a child, I was infatuated with the moon and felt it was magical and brought good luck when it shone in the sky. I remember I wanted to kidnap it and keep it in my room and my mom told me that was selfish. And she explained the moon was in the sky for all to enjoy and not just me. I feel Moonwashed Musings intertwines my inner child with my thoughts of today.

I love the blogosphere where I can read and write poetry while meeting and communicating with others. It’s calming and beautifully fulfilling.

Below is a brief synopsis of my blog.

Moonwashed Weekly Challenge is a series of posts where I publish a prompt post every Tuesday. The idea is to let the prompt inspire you to publish a post on your own blog that responds to the challenge.

The Limelighters is a series of posts recognizing writers participating in the Moonwashed Weekly Challenges.

A wrap-up post is published every Monday listing participants and their links from the week before.

EZ-PZ Writes is a series of my posts consisting of poems written with brevity in mind. Examples – Monoku, Pi-ku, The American Sentence, Haiku, and Senryu, just to name a few.

Odds and Ends is a catchall of categories, other than Moonwashed Weekly Challenges, EZ-PZ Writes, and The Limelighters. Examples – Blog News, Blogging, Musing, Poetry, and Publications
