dwell in enchanting
chapters embrace as
whispered applause
echo yesteryears
glory in intoxicating
masquerades neath
visions of I was beautiful
then radiance lack lustered
by gloaming of ageism
moments once defined
as wondrous acclaims
now a faded scrawl on blank
dogeared pages.
